Get Lost with Nathan

So I've been a bit behind the times regarding my Nathan viewing, which is quite unfortunate. But that overwhelming occurance you can't escape (also known as "life") has taken hold these last couple of months, so unless it's been a film intended for secondary school study (and me having to teach the film), it's unlikely that I would've seen it.

Nonetheless, I finally got around to seeing Slither on DVD. Nathan good. Bloodthristy zombies bad. And when I have more time, I'll write a proper review.

Recently learnt that Nathan was in the latest episode of Lost and when Channel Seven broadcasts that baby I'll be sitting down with my pad of paper, ready to take notes on Mr Fillion's hair!

Two Guys & A Girl

I finally got my hands on a taped copy of Two Guys and a Girl. Episode 'Liver and Learn'.

TWO GUYS AND A GIRL (1998 - 2001) - Johnny Donnelly

Content (2.5 nothing out of the ordinary): Two guys and a girl (none romantically involved with the other) live in an apartment building together. Once upon a time, they frequented/worked at a pizza place.
Production (2.5): Typical American sitcom with an annoying laugh track that "laughs" at the not-so-funny-parts. Compared to the best sitcom to every come out of a America (*cough*Arrested Development*cough*) it doesn't rate. Compared to something like Run of the House, it's an Oscar contender.
Acting (3): I never cared for TGAAG when it originally aired; Pete was a bore, Berg was a cockhead, Sharon was a whiney spaz and Ashley was quite easily the spawn of Satan. (As for Johnny, he was just "man stupid enough to marry whineo"). BUT. In hindsight, I was either too hard on the show or today, Nathan Fillion's face on a packet of peanuts would intice me into buying 50 packets! This particular episode was amusing enough, the cast dynamic is a lot better than other sitcoms and the acting didn't annoy as much as it used to.
Hair (4): His Firefly hairstyle (in this ep), all he really needed was a brown coat (funnily enough, at one stage he had a black coat on!). Additional point for Ryan Reynolds spiky 'doo, as much as I don't like that guy, he's got good hair.
Bonus (5): NF spent most of this particular episode shirtless, so that's a couple of points there. There was also a very amusing couple of bathroom/screaming scenes with some *sexy* little dance moves.

Total: 17

And on a site note, it's good to see that David Conrad does have another male lead these days (Ghost Whisperer for the uninformed).
